guys ive been using the rock xp before, there were no problem in first place i can update from the microsoft web but time comes i can no longer update. everytime i update a windows always appear that there are problem and just say sorry for the inconvenience.. any ideas from our friendly crackers or hackers?????
Hey there everyone you have to do just this to make WINDOWS XP genuine or avtivated.
Create a NOTEPAD and copy – paste the following text into it
reg add “HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents” /f
reg restore “HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents” %TEMP%\vista\xp.hiv
%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a
regedit.exe /s %TEMP%\vista\xp.reg
shutdown /t 10 /r /c “Windows Activating. System is restarting. Please Wait.”
Click on FILE
SAVE AS…
activgenXP.bat

If u accidently deleted the OOBETimer, just re-create the entry.
Make sure you are in the \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents
and right-click on the right panel, select New -> Binary Value.
After that, change the default value to OOBETimer. Then just follow on with my instructions.

I must state your manoeuvre to render windows XP genuine is rather splendid! and had been successful in downloading high priority downloads which was denied all these years. Moreover the microsoft would continually send a worm now and then ,had my desktop with banners and tray icons stating my window is illegal, I tried to provide them with the genuine keys that was on the window XP CD but unfortunately the effort was pointless. I was living with this annoyance for an year , visited several websites and changed several keys hoping to surmount this hassle but your idea by deactivating the the system through registry did the trick. Let me express my sincere gratitude for this wonderful patch. Thank you once again.

I did it, when I first tried. It’s still 0000, but when I enter update.microsoft.com, it doesn’t passes the validation check.
That’s odd! Did you right click on the WPAEvents ? then click the permission and continue as directed. It operates very well for me. Unless you have some enviornment problem for the program. My version is SP3 too.
I restored my system to a previous state and it reset the timer i guess. I see a new wba.dbl file in the system32 folder(each time i restart) and before i can get in windows it tells me i have 6 days to activate. I have the oobetimer set as ffd571d68b6a8d6fd53393fd. I need suggestions?
the system 32 permissions for system are set to deny, and i have done everything said step 1-17
Try validating your software by going to the appropriate site. If everything goes well it must validate as genuine

Its not working . I have done all butwhen i donload latest update its show anotification window did not pass genuine window validation.
I logged on using Safe mode. Followed your outline. Now, when i try to log in in normal mode, it says that i have to activate Windows. If i select “yes” to activate now it open up a window which says that windows is already activated. If I select OK, is logs me back out to the welcome screen. Please help

I didn’t try yet the first method, but I’m wondering if this new key you are replacing at regedit would not become invalid in the near future, as many people are using it??

It just works! Simple and efficient!
After successfull activation, my windows received 43 automatic updates when i shutdown.
After the 43 updates, I reboot and everything is working fine!

Summarizing:
1. I had problems with Windows XP Pro and used Windows XP Pro SP3 OEM cd to reinstall windows
2. I used the first method to activate windows. Worked fine
3. I tried to update Windows Media Player to verson 11 and failed the Windows Genuine validation, like HELP! described
4. I download and run the Rumi aplication and passed the web Windows Genuine validation.
5. After restart windows, I removed previous media player 11 and I transferred Windows Media Player 11 directly from microsoft downloads page
6. Windows Media Player 11 validation failed again
7. Then, I tried the solution mentioned by Widows XPer (Windows_XP_Genuine_Validation 3923148 torrent)
8. I tried the validation of Windows Media Player and … successful validation!
So, my advice, do the 2. and 7.

Guys i have d way making xp genuine : 100% working bcz my friends too tried it and it worked
1) start > run > “regedit” (without the quotes of course)
2) go to the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents\OOBETimer
…and doubleclick on it. Then change some of the value data to ANYTHING ELSE…delete some, add some letters, I don’t care…just change it!
now close out regedit.
3) go to start > run > “%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a” (again, dont type the quotes)
4) the activation screen will come up, click on register over telephone, then click on CHANGE PRODUCT KEY, enter in this key: JG28K-H9Q7X-BH6W4-3PDCQ-6XBFJ.
5)Now press update
it will work 4 sure.

Right now, I believe that I still need the authentication process, update (especially with service packs), and some possible Internet Explorer replacement (without risk in removing interface customization [that means I probably with need to get the copy of the same exact version and I hope there are no more requirements needed]). how to be sure if it has worked or not?
DO NOT DO THIS! NOT RECOMMENDED! All this will do is disable the window on the bottom right of your screen that says your copy may not be genuine.. This will NOT make windows genuine. You will still be required to activate once your “XX” amount of days are up.. If you tried this fix.. and you are getting the message, “already activated” and are now locked out of your machine.. try this in safe mode. Go back into HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft \WindowsNT\Current Version\WPAEvents\oobet timer. Delete the modified OOBETIMER, and create another one set to its default value. Just make sure you rename it OOBETIMER. Right click on WPAEvents — Permissions — System — AND Undo Deny All Control. This can all be done from safe mode. (F8 at startup) Reboot windows normally. And you should now be able to access the screen to activate your pc.
